How to reach Ostrava

Two fully air-conditioned ice rinks of the size of 30m by 60m are available - the Main Rink (the Palace of Sports and Culture of Vitkovice) can accommodate 9,800 spectators and the Practice Rink has 1,931 seats for the audience. The ice rinks are about a 10 minutes´ drive from each other. The Main Rink is a sports centre with a restaurant, fitness centre and full equipment for medical treatment. A new hotel, restaurant, fitness centre, sauna and physiotherapy room are parts of the Practice Rink complex.

There are three official hotels designated for participants of the Championships in Ostrava.
The Imperial Hotel, designated as the hotel for the Officials and Judges, is about a 10 min drive from the Main Rink. Single rooms, double rooms, and suites together with a dining room, a bar, various kinds of meeting rooms, a disco, a fitness-centre with an indoor swimming pool and a large congress-centre for 210 persons are available in this facility.

The Atom Hotel, designated for the Competitors, Team Leaders and Team Doctors, is located in the approximate vicinity of the Main Rink. It offers 169 rooms for its guests (single and double rooms, suites) together with a restaurant, bar, fitness and small swimming pool. In addition, two congress halls (for 60 and 250 persons) and several meeting rooms for up to 20 people are available. These meeting rooms can be rented for various meetings of teams (USD 15 – 20 per hour).

The Harmony Club Hotel, designated for the Coaches, Chaperons, Press and Other Members of the skating family, is about a 10 min drive from the Main Rink. There are 156 rooms (single and double) available.

can take a bus (No 119) and underground (A Line to the Museum Station, there
change to the C Line to the Hlavni nadrazi Station) to the Prague Main
Railway Station (Hlavni nadrazi); the time spent on bus and underground is
